Logan Wilson, a linebacker who spent most of his NFL career with the Cincinnati Bengals before a trade to the Dallas Cowboys in the 2025 season, announced his retirement on Wednesday via Instagram.[1]
The 29-year-old Wyoming native was selected by the Bengals in the third round, 92nd overall, of the 2020 NFL Draft.[2] He appeared in 12 games as a rookie, starting two, before securing the starting middle linebacker role in 2021, which he held through his time in Cincinnati.[2]
Wilson contributed significantly to the Bengals' 2021 playoff run, including an interception in the divisional round victory over the Tennessee Titans on January 22, 2022, clinching a 19-16 win to advance to the AFC Championship Game.[3] Cincinnati defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 in overtime to reach Super Bowl LVI, where they fell 23-20 to the Los Angeles Rams.[3]
Through the 2023 season, Wilson recorded 411 combined tackles, 2.5 sacks and 6 interceptions in 62 games.[2] He posted over 100 tackles in each of the 2021-2023 seasons.[2]

Wilson has played his entire verified NFL career at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Bengals' home since 2023.[4]
